Inoreader has two plans for one person. Free costs nothing, has no ads and covers 150 RSS feeds. Pro is $7.50 a month billed annually, which is $89.99 a year, or $9.99 billed monthly, and covers 2,500 feeds plus rules, filters, newsletters and monitoring. Above that sit a Custom plan priced by quote and Team plans from $44.99 a month for 3 people. Those figures were the same from the US and from India on 6 October 2026.

## Inoreader plans and prices at a glance

Prices were checked on 6 October 2026 and are in US dollars. Plan prices and limits are from [Inoreader's pricing page](https://www.inoreader.com/pricing), and Team prices from its [enterprise pricing page](https://www.inoreader.com/pricing/enterprise).

| Plan | Price | RSS feeds | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, "Free forever", no credit card | 150 | Reading feeds, search in your own feeds, Google News alerts, no ads |
| Pro | $7.50 a month billed annually ($89.99 a year), or $9.99 billed monthly | 2,500 | Rules, filters, newsletters, web feeds, monitoring, social feeds, AI summaries, offline, integrations |
| Custom | Quote only | By arrangement | Pro with add-ons for higher limits |
| Team | $44.99 a month (3 members) to $374.99 a month (50 members) | 10,000, shared | Shared folders, channels and feature pools |

The Pro card shows only the per-month figure. The yearly total is in the US App Store, where the annual Pro plan is listed at $89.99 ([App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/inoreader-news-rss-reader/id892355414)). Twelve months at $9.99 comes to $119.88, so paying yearly saves $29.89. That sum is our arithmetic, not Inoreader's.

## Does the price change by country?

Not between the two places we tested. We loaded the page from India, then had the Internet Archive [save a copy minutes later](https://web.archive.org/web/20261006083924/https://www.inoreader.com/pricing). Its crawlers sit in California, going by [an IP lookup archived the same day](https://web.archive.org/web/20261006032059/https://ipinfo.io/json). Both show Pro at $7.50 a month billed annually or $9.99 billed monthly, in US dollars.

Europe is the exception Inoreader itself names. Its pricing FAQ says that if you buy from Europe, VAT "will be added to the Inoreader price", at a rate that depends on your country.

## What Inoreader Free includes

The free plan is larger than most. From the comparison table on the [pricing page](https://www.inoreader.com/pricing), Free gets:

- **150 RSS feeds**, with folders, tags and dashboards.
- **No ads.** The table lists "Ad-free view" for both plans. Ads left the free plan in October 2024 ([Inoreader blog](https://www.inoreader.com/blog/2024/10/the-new-inoreader-experience-is-here.html)), so older reviews that mention banners are out of date.
- **Search in your own feeds** and **Google News alerts** for keywords.
- **A read later list and saved web pages.**
- **Load full content**, which pulls the whole article into the reader.
- **10 article translations a day and 5 text-to-speech articles a day.**
- **PDF export and send to email.**

What Free does not include, each marked with a cross in that table:

- **Newsletter feeds and web feeds.** The 20 of each you may see quoted is the Pro allowance; the table gives Free none.
- **Rules and filters**, including duplicate removal.
- **Push notifications.**
- **Facebook, Bluesky, Telegram and VKontakte feeds, and YouTube subscription sync.**
- **Monitoring feeds and global search** across sources you don't follow.
- **Offline reading, annotations and article summaries.**
- **IFTTT, Zapier and n8n, and API access.**
- **A guaranteed refresh rate.** Only Pro is promised that feeds update at least once an hour.

## What Inoreader Pro adds

Pro raises the feed limit from 150 to 2,500 and turns on the tools Inoreader is known for. The limits, from the same table:

| Feature | Pro limit |
|---|---|
| RSS feeds | 2,500 |
| Rules | 30 |
| Filters (content and duplicate, one pool) | 50 |
| Monitoring feeds | 30 |
| Web feeds and change tracking | 20 |
| Newsletter feeds | 20 |
| Facebook, Bluesky, Telegram, VKontakte feeds | 30 each |
| Boosted feeds | 100 |

Two of those need a note. Filters became a single pool of 50 in April 2026; before that Pro had 30 content filters and 10 duplicate filters counted separately ([Inoreader blog](https://www.inoreader.com/blog/2026/04/new-combined-filter-quotas.html)). Boosted feeds are the ones you pick to refresh every 10 minutes instead of hourly ([Inoreader blog](https://www.inoreader.com/blog/2026/01/discover-and-monitor-content.html)).

Pro also shows translation and text-to-speech without a daily cap, and adds push notifications, offline reading, annotations, global search, automatic OPML backups, API access and Inoreader Intelligence: article summaries, mentions, suggested tags and transcripts for podcasts and videos. Summaries have their own cap. The table's note reads "Limited to 1M tokens per month", with more available as an add-on.

## What Pro still charges extra for

Three rows in the table carry a cross under Pro as well as Free: Intelligence reports, email digests and using a personal API key for the AI features. Reports are sold as an add-on for Pro and Custom plans and are included in Team Intelligence plans ([Inoreader blog](https://www.inoreader.com/blog/2025/04/new-intelligence-reports-and-team-intelligence-plan.html)). Since the second quarter of 2026 you can start a free trial of the reports and digests add-ons yourself ([Inoreader blog](https://www.inoreader.com/blog/2026/07/inoreader-q2-highlights-more-control-less-friction.html)).

You can also buy a higher limit on a single feature, such as more filters or web feeds, from the billing section of your account. Inoreader does not publish prices for add-ons or limit increases on its public pages, so we can't quote them.

## Team and Custom pricing

Team plans come in two versions, Team and Team Intelligence, with the price set by head count ([enterprise pricing](https://www.inoreader.com/pricing/enterprise)):

| Members | Team | Team Intelligence |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | $44.99 a month | $64.99 a month |
| 5 | $74.99 a month | $99.99 a month |
| 10 | $119.99 a month | $169.99 a month |
| 20 | $224.99 a month | $319.99 a month |
| 50 | $374.99 a month | $629.99 a month |

Limits on Team plans are shared across the whole team, not given to each member. There is no trial button for Teams; the page says to contact Inoreader and it will "set up a test drive".

## App Store and Google Play prices

The US App Store lists four in-app purchases at three prices: Pro plan (annual) at $89.99, and Pro plan (monthly) at $9.99 twice and at $8.99 once ([App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/inoreader-news-rss-reader/id892355414)). The listing doesn't say what separates the two monthly prices. The yearly price matches the website.

Google Play's US listing shows in-app purchases of $8.99 to $89.99 per item without naming them, and its description mentions only an annual subscription ([Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.innologica.inoreader&hl=en_US&gl=US)).

A subscription bought through a store is cancelled in your Apple or Google account, not on Inoreader's site.

## Trials, refunds and cancelling

**Trial.** The pricing cards don't mention one. Inoreader's comparison pages do: "Start a 14-day trial, no credit card required" ([Inoreader](https://www.inoreader.com/alternative-to-feedbin)). A menu link in the site's own code says 15 days, and we did not start a trial, so treat the length as roughly two weeks.

**Refunds.** The pricing FAQ is specific: "You can get a refund on an annual payment within seven days of your purchase. No questions, no explanations." It says nothing about refunds on monthly payments.

**Cancelling.** Your account drops to Free. Anything above the free limits is deactivated, not deleted, and works again if you upgrade later. Moving to a bigger plan mid-term is prorated.

## Has Inoreader's price gone up?

The list price is what it was three years ago. [A June 2023 capture](https://web.archive.org/web/20230601031237/https://www.inoreader.com/pricing) of the pricing page shows the same $7.50 and $9.99.

What changed is what it buys. That capture, and [one from November 2024](https://web.archive.org/web/20241107013739/https://www.inoreader.com/pricing), list Pro's RSS feeds as "Unlimited". By [January 2025](https://web.archive.org/web/20250103013106/https://www.inoreader.com/pricing) the same row read 2,500.

Long-time subscribers on older rates did see a jump. In a February 2024 forum thread, one wrote of "my Pro subscription going from $49 a year to $89" ([MacPowerUsers](https://talk.macpowerusers.com/t/rss-reader-inoreader-subscription-costs-doubled-90-yr-alternatives/36251)).

## How Inoreader's price compares

**Feedly.** Its free plan holds 100 feeds, with ads and no search, and Feedly Pro costs less than Inoreader Pro but leaves filtering to a dearer plan. The figures are in our [Feedly pricing](/blog/feedly-pricing) breakdown, and [Inoreader vs Feedly](/blog/inoreader-vs-feedly) compares the two feature by feature.

**NewsBlur.** Free covers 64 sites, Premium is $36 a year for 1,024 sites and Premium Archive is $99 a year for 4,096 ([NewsBlur](https://www.newsblur.com/pricing)). It is the cheaper choice if you want a paid reader and don't need Inoreader's monitoring or social feeds.

**Hushread.** A simpler news reader at a much lower price: free for up to 5 sources, then $1.25 a month billed yearly in the US for unlimited sources ([plans and billing](/docs/plans-and-billing)). It groups coverage of one event from different outlets into a single story. It has no newsletters, integrations or API, and its free plan is a thirtieth the size of Inoreader's. [Hushread vs Inoreader](/blog/hushread-vs-inoreader) has the full comparison.

## Is Inoreader Pro worth it?

- **Stay on Free** if you follow fewer than 150 feeds and just want to read them. It has no ads and includes search, which is more than most free plans give.
- **Pay for Pro** if you would use the rules, filters, monitoring feeds, newsletters or web feeds every week, or you need push notifications or more than 150 feeds. Pay yearly; monthly costs about $30 more over twelve months.
- **Ask about Team or Custom** if several people share feeds, or you need limits above Pro's.
