# Stories and timelines

> How Hushread links coverage of the same event, and how to open a story's full timeline.

Hushread Docs, Reading. Canonical: https://hushread.com/docs/stories-and-timelines

Hushread notices when different outlets are covering the same event and links their articles together.

## Also mentioned in

Under an article you'll often see **Also mentioned in**, followed by the other outlets covering the same news (**+ N more** when there are many). Tap one to read that outlet's version.

## See whole story

When a story is big enough, covered by 8 or more publishers, a **See whole story** tile appears with the number of sources and how long the story has been running. It opens **Full story**:

- **The story so far:** a summary of how it developed.
- **How it unfolded:** every outlet's coverage, day by day (**Today**, **Yesterday**, earlier days).
- **Chapters:** long-running stories are split into chapters, each with its own summary, tagged **latest** and **how it started**.

## On the web

Hushread also publishes [Stories](/stories): developing stories written with AI from many outlets' coverage, each with a source-linked timeline. You can read them without an account.
