Heidi Klum Reveals Severed Hand Costume at Her 25th Halloween Party

Heidi Klum's Halloween preparations began in public before the costume reveal. On October 30, Vogue covered her family night out in a ruffled, pumpkin-orange look, accompanied by three of her children.

The buildup then turned bloodier. In a November 1 report, Forbes described short videos Klum had posted teasing what appeared to be a gory costume ahead of her annual Saturday night party in New York.

The reveal, covered on November 1 by The Hollywood Reporter, delivered on those hints: Klum had transformed into a severed human hand for the Saturday night celebration.

It was not just an anonymous oversized hand. According to DIE WELT, the costume represented her own left hand. Vogue likewise described it as a giant replica of her hand and reported her explanation: "I thought it would be funny and bizarre to take something so familiar and twist it."

The transformation concealed almost all of her. Express & Star reported that only her eyes and mouth were showing, making Klum unrecognisable beneath the costume.

The event also marked a milestone beyond the outfit. Telegraaf described Saturday's New York celebration as her 25th annual Halloween party, while Express & Star reported that the gathering was marking 25 years.

The costume has now been unveiled and the anniversary celebration held. The reveal resolves the mystery behind the gory preview videos: this year's central image was Klum herself concealed inside an enormous severed hand.

It adds another transformation to the party's history. CBS Top Stories recalled that Klum went viral in 2022 when she arrived encased in a slithering worm costume. This year, she chose something more familiar in shape, but no less concealing.
