Sign up

Open the app (or app.hushread.com) and choose Sign up. You can create an account with:

  • Email: your full name, email address and a password of at least 6 characters, then Create account.
  • Continue with Google, on every platform.
  • Continue with Apple, on iPhone and iPad.
  • Continue with Facebook.

If you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook using an email address that already has a Hushread account, the two are linked, so you keep your sources.

Pick your first topics

New accounts start at What are you into?. Pick up to 5 topics, such as News - Global, Tech & AI, Science & Space, Business & Finance or Sports, then tap Build my feed. Hushread follows a few good sources for each one, up to 5 sources in total, the free plan’s limit.

Prefer to start from scratch? Tap I’ll choose my own feeds, skip this and add sources yourself.

The tour

After setup, a short tour points out the menu, quick summaries, layouts, search and Trending. Tap Start tour, or Skip.

On iPhone and Android, Hushread then asks whether you want notifications (Stay in the loop). You can change this later; see Notifications.
