Rules act on articles the moment they arrive. Open the menu (☰) and tap Rules, or go to Settings › Reading › Rules & filters.
Create a rule
Under New rule:
- Type a Keyword or phrase (2 to 120 characters). It’s matched against the article’s title and summary.
- Pick what to do:
- Mute: hide matching articles from your feed.
- Mark read: matching articles arrive already read.
- Notify: get a push alert for every matching article.
- Optionally pick a tone: Any, Positive, Negative or Neutral. Each article’s tone is judged by AI.
- Choose where it Applies to: All sources, one folder, or one source.
- Tap Add rule.
A rule needs a keyword, a tone, or both.
